What We Do


Our mission is to promote food literacy from the ground up.
1) Retail books about food, featuring newly published and classic titles, popular as well as undiscovered staff picks, books for
curriculum teaching and reading group discussions.
2) Publish books about food for children and their families, as well as teachers and librarians, whom we feel are essential in the food dialogue. We want books that showcase the passion, history and stories behind our foldaways.
3) Develop educational programs about our food system by partnering with farmers, gardeners, chefs, teachers, librarians, parents and communities. We want children, youth and families to be participants in their local food culture.
