Auburn Int'l Farmers Market# R2E is pleased to work with the Auburn Int'l Farmers Market and the Auburn Public Library to launch AUBURN READS. As part of the market opening day, R2E will host a book presentation and signing with Bill Thorness, author of EDIBLE HEIRLOOMS. See you at Auburn Station Plaza from 10 am - 3 pm.

Sustainable Path Seminar: Conversation About Our Food and Eating# Is it enough to "vote with your fork"? What would a sustainable food system look like? Mary Embleton, Executive Director of Cascade Harvest Coalition, and Britt Yamamoto, a member of the Core Faculty at the Center for Creative Change at Antioch University, discuss the many dimensions of food and eating. R2E is happy to be the book vendor at this great event that promises to challenge and confront our views on sustainability issues. Tacoma Farmers Market# This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Tacoma Broadway market and R2E mobile bookstore is happy to be a regular vendor there. The market draws 4000-6000 every Thursday. Look for us in downtown Tacoma (Broadway St, betwn 9th and 11th) from 8:30 am - 2 pm!

Northwest Harvest annual meeting# Northwest Harvest is Washington state's own statewide hunger relief agency. R2E is happy to be a book vendor at the event and create partnerships to promote food literacy to families in need.

Solid Ground's "Building Community" Luncheon w/ Bryant Terry# R2E will be handling the book signing for Bryant Terry for this terrific event. Terry is an eco chef, food justice activist, and author of GRUB and VEGAN SOUL KITCHEN. Solid Ground is a wonderful organization that provides shelter, food, home care, transportation and other basic services to more than 38,000 families/individuals in need throughout King County. First Annual Bastyr Food Film Festival# R2E Mobile Bookstore will be at the first annual Food Film Festival at Bastyr University. FRESH will be the feature film on Friday and FOOD FIGHT will be the feature film on Saturday. These two powerful movies are sure to generate lots of discussion.

YMCA Family Day at Bothell# "Put play in your day with active family time." This is a day celebrating active living at all YMCAs nationally. R2E Mobile Bookstore will be at the Northshore YMCA in Bothell. This should be a fun day of activities--and reading!
